About Slim

I worked as an Educational Assistant in University of Ottawa, as a Journalist (Sports editor) in a Francophone journal. Currently a French Teacher for Government Employees.

I have lots of experience in the Health and Wellness Industry and spent all my life in the French Education System. I have also a French High School Bachelor and another Bachelor in Political Science & Business Administration.

I also have more than 5000 hours of Teaching Experience!

About the lesson

I try to be the most flexible possible. I always want to get to know the student in order to adapt. I think teaching is also about learning. You learn a lot about yourself and others when you are in a teacher-student relationship.

I also prefer practice than theory because with practice comes habit and with habit comes expertise.

One method would be, for example, to watch your favourite movies and TV Shows in French and then we would talk about them, make a summary, etc.

This, in my experience, allows the Students to retain more information because they are familiar with their favorite Movies and TV Shows. They learn the subtle expressions and ways of speaking French that they can't find in Books.

The First Lesson is for free. In my experience, 30 minutes is always enough to know if you want to continue or not.

The first contact is always important and I want to make sure you are at ease.

The rest of the sessions are 35$/h and I offer a 5 hour and a 10 hour package deal with a Discount.
