About Clarisse

Learning German, English, and Latin as a child motivated me to become a language teacher. I am also passionate about literature and cinema, which are areas I would enjoy teaching as part of French culture.

My mastery of grammar and French literature inspires me to teach. Sharing my language and culture with others is something I truly enjoy.

I hope this website helps me share this passion with you.

About the lesson

Before I explain the process, my teaching is based on the AIM method gestures. It is a Canadian learning method that allows learners to associate gestures to words. I have been trying this method with kids and I can see that it is more impactful on their learning.

Now let's talk about the course !
First, we are going to :
- Talk about your motivations towards learning french
-Evaluate your french level with specific tests I elaborated myself for your future learning journey

Everything, of course, in a relaxed and enjoyable first lesson where we will get to know each other.

Then, regarding to your estimated level, I will prepare adapted and fun (of course!) resources that will help us going through your learning. We will train all the language skills : listening, reading, writing and more than everything SPEAKING !

I have been working mainly with kids (and young adults) from Reception to Year 12 (in the IB program) as a French assistant and I am about to graduate next year as a Masters student of Teaching French as a foreign language. I have been trained to teach french to any language as a mother language but I am specialised in English and German speakers.
