About BARBARA

Barbara moved from France to Canada in 2019 and has been a full-time tutor since. She founded Je Parle French to meet the growing demand for French tutoring and to share her experience and love for teaching with other tutors. With over 10 years of experience, Barbara teaches all levels and has developed learning programs and materials to support her students on their language journey. Barbara offers the following classes: - Exam preparation (TEF/TCF, DELF/DALF, AP French, SLE) - Online private lessons (kids and adults) - Online group lessons In-person group lessons (Victoria only)

Perfect! Barbara is an amazing tutor! She has a dynamic personality who designs her lessons to cater the individual learning needs of her students. Barbara makes lessons fun, and my daughter looks forward to her sessions with Barbara. I contacted Barbara because my daughter was struggling with French grammar, however, after only a few lessons she became quite proficient in French vocabulary and grammar. I would highly recommend Barbara to anyone looking for a French tutor.

Barbara is a talented teacher and a brilliant communicator. We’ve met in Vancouver on a hike and Barbara offered to help me practice french before meeting my in-laws in Switzerland. She’s not only improved my grammar and vocabulary, but made me feel so much more confident in speaking French. She introduced a lot of different exercises, provided constructive feedback and hands on materials. I’ve also introduced her to my nephew and niece and she is SO great around the kids.
As a native French speaker, Barbara will not only teach you French, but also share her culture and history. I would definitely recommend her to all my friends.
