About Saumya

Hi, I’m Saumya, a dedicated French tutor specializing in teaching students from elementary to high school levels. I am passionate about helping young learners build strong foundations in French while developing confidence in their reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. I understand that learning a new language can feel challenging, especially at a young age. That’s why I focus on creating a supportive, structured, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and progressing at their own pace. My teaching style is calm, patient, and adapted to each student’s academic level and school curriculum. I place a strong emphasis on clarity, consistency, and progress. Lessons are carefully planned to align with school expectations while making concepts easy to understand and apply. When students truly understand the basics, they perform better academically and feel more confident using the language. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them develop a positive relationship with French that will benefit them throughout their education. I take pride in being reliable, organized, and committed to each student’s success.

About the lesson

Hi, I’m Saumya, and I specialize in teaching French to school students from elementary level up to high school. My approach is patient, structured, and adapted to how younger learners understand and retain information. I focus on making French simple, engaging, and stress-free, while still ensuring strong academic progress.

Teaching Methodology & Techniques

I use age-appropriate, school-aligned teaching methods that help students truly understand what they are learning rather than memorizing it.

My techniques include:
Clear, step-by-step explanations of grammar and vocabulary
Visual examples and repetition to support retention

Speaking practice suited to the student’s age and confidence level

Breaking down schoolwork and exam content into manageable parts

I adapt lessons to each student’s school curriculum and learning pace, ensuring they feel supported and motivated.

A Typical Lesson Plan

A typical lesson is structured yet flexible and usually includes:
A short review of previous concepts
Explanation of new material based on school lessons or curriculum needs

Guided practice through exercises, worksheets, or examples
Light speaking or reading practice to build confidence
A recap to ensure understanding and identify areas to improve
Homework support and exam preparation are integrated when needed.

What Sets Me Apart

What sets me apart is my calm, approachable teaching style and my ability to explain concepts in a way that younger students can easily grasp. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. I also focus on building long-term understanding, not just short-term grades.

Who My Lessons Are For

My lessons are suitable for:
Elementary, middle school, and high school students
Students learning French as a second or additional language
Learners who need help with grammar, vocabulary, reading, or speaking

Students preparing for school tests, assignments, or exams
Whether a student needs extra support or wants to strengthen their French skills, my goal is to help them build confidence and succeed academically.
