About Katy
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in French Language and Literature and have 8 years of experience teaching French to students of different levels and backgrounds. My passion for languages developed early and grew into a strong interest in teaching and communication. I believe that learning French should be simple, practical, and enjoyable. My teaching style focuses on clarity, patience, and helping students build confidence step by step.
I personalize my lessons based on each student’s needs and learning pace. Beginners receive structured guidance to build a strong foundation, while intermediate learners are supported in improving fluency and understanding. Advanced students focus on refining their communication and expressing ideas more naturally. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable practicing regularly and improving steadily.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading French literature and exploring everyday language use, which helps me bring real-world examples into my lessons. This makes learning more engaging and meaningful for students. Helping learners gain confidence and communicate effectively in French is one of the most fulfilling parts of my teaching journey.

My French lessons are designed to help students understand the language clearly while also gaining confidence in communication. I focus on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, verb conjugation, listening skills, and sentence formation so students can express themselves correctly and naturally. I create a calm and supportive environment where students feel comfortable practicing and improving without hesitation.
Lessons are structured based on each student’s level and learning goals. Beginners start with basic vocabulary, simple sentences, and pronunciation practice to build confidence. Intermediate learners work on improving grammar accuracy, expanding vocabulary, and developing better speaking skills. Advanced students focus on fluency, complex sentence structures, and deeper understanding of cultural context. Each lesson includes guided practice, real-life examples, and detailed feedback to ensure steady progress.
The goal of my French lessons is to help students communicate clearly and confidently in real-life situations. They learn how to express their ideas, understand spoken French, and build strong communication skills. Lessons are designed to be practical and structured, helping students develop long-term confidence in using the language effectively.
