About Honey
I am a passionate French tutor with over 12 years of experience teaching college students. I focus on teaching French step by step, ensuring students understand concepts clearly while learning to use the language practically.
My teaching style is patient, structured, and student-focused. Grammar is explained clearly, and vocabulary is taught through real-life and academic examples. Lessons are customised to the student’s level, goals, and pace.
I use innovative techniques such as guided conversations, interactive exercises, role-plays, scenario-based learning, and listening tasks. These methods help students practise all language skills while gaining confidence.
I create a supportive and positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. Regular feedback ensures steady progress.
My goal is to help college students achieve fluency, confidence, and lasting mastery of French.

I teach French using a creative and confidence-building methodology that combines mentorship, critical thinking, and accountability. Lessons are interactive and practical, incorporating storytelling, role-plays, dialogues, and real-life examples to strengthen speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Creativity ensures that learning is engaging, enjoyable, and memorable.
As a mentor, I guide students to analyse grammar, expand vocabulary, and understand sentence structures critically. They are encouraged to think independently, solve problems creatively, and apply knowledge in real-life contexts. This approach develops confidence, analytical thinking, and effective communication skills.
Accountability is central to my teaching. I help students set clear goals, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback to ensure steady improvement. Lessons are tailored to each student’s pace, learning style, and strengths, creating a flexible and effective learning environment.
In addition to French, I can teach literature, writing, and other language-related subjects. My goal is to create a supportive, inspiring, and growth-oriented environment where students master French while developing creativity, critical thinking, and lifelong learning skills.
