About Janna

Hello! My name is Janna, and I am passionate about helping students succeed both academically and personally. I believe every student has the ability to learn and grow when they receive patient guidance, encouragement, and instruction that matches their unique learning style.

I enjoy creating a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and developing skills that extend beyond the classroom. My goal is not only to improve grades but also to help students become independent, motivated learners.

I am committed to providing personalized lessons tailored to each student's needs and learning pace. Whether your child needs extra support, wants to strengthen foundational skills, or is looking to get ahead, I am here to help make learning an enjoyable and rewarding experience.

About the lesson

Every student learns differently, so I personalize each lesson to match the student's learning style, pace, and goals. I believe students learn best in a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions, practicing new skills, and building confidence.

A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous material, followed by clear explanations of new concepts using simple, step-by-step instruction. We then work through guided examples together before the student practices independently with feedback and encouragement. I also share study strategies and organizational techniques that help students become more confident and independent learners.

My lessons focus on understanding concepts rather than memorizing answers. I strive to make learning engaging, positive, and stress-free while celebrating each student's progress.

I offer tutoring for elementary, middle school, and high school students in reading, writing, grammar, study skills, homework help, and foundational math. Whether a student needs extra support, wants to strengthen core skills, or hopes to get ahead, I provide personalized instruction designed to help them succeed academically and develop a lifelong love of learning.
