About Anushri

My name is Anushri Mathur and I am a dedicated second year medical student.

I want to become a tutor because I enjoy helping students understand and build their confidence in their knowledge and understanding. During sixth-form I volunteered in a support club where I was lucky to teach and mentor younger students. Seeing their confidence grow and their progress was very rewarding and it has inspired me to continue teaching.

I understand the importance of building a strong foundation and I understand that every student learns differently. Tutoring will give me the opportunity to support students while also making learning an enjoyable experience

About the lesson

I aim to create an encouraging and friendly learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. Every lesson is tailored to each student’s individual learning style and needs.

At the beginning, I will identify the topics that each student finds most challenging and work with them to strengthen their understanding of the subject. I explain concepts clearly and adapt my teaching methods until the student feels confident and secure in their understanding. Once they have mastered the theory, we will work through exam-style questions together so they can apply their knowledge and master exam technique. We will also regularly revisit previous topics to reinforce their understanding.

My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to ensure they develop a deep understanding of the subject in a way that is enjoyable and works for them. I aim to motivate students to become confident learners who enjoy learning.
