About Janna Mae
Hello! I’m Janna Mae, a friendly, patient, and passionate English teacher who loves helping children become confident English speakers. I enjoy creating fun and engaging lessons where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and making mistakes while learning.
I have experience teaching English to young learners and enjoy using interactive activities, visuals, games, and positive encouragement. I believe every student learns differently, so I always try to make my lessons enjoyable and suitable for each learner’s needs and level.
My goal is not only to teach English but also to help my students build confidence, improve their communication skills, and develop a positive attitude toward learning. I would be happy to be part of your child’s English-learning journey!

I’m a friendly, patient, and experienced ESL teacher who enjoys helping children learn English in a fun, comfortable, and engaging way. My goal is to help students develop their English skills while building confidence and enjoying every lesson.
# My Teaching Approach
I use a student-centered approach and adapt my lessons to each learner’s age, level, interests, and learning needs. I use TPR (Total Physical Response), flashcards, puppets, pictures, gestures, repetition, games, and simple conversation activities to make English easier to understand and remember.
I encourage students to participate actively rather than simply listen. I ask questions, give encouragement, correct mistakes gently, and give students plenty of opportunities to practice speaking.
# What a Typical Lesson Looks Like
A typical lesson may include:
* A warm-up and friendly conversation
* Review of previously learned words or expressions
* Introduction of new vocabulary or grammar
* Interactive activities using flashcards, pictures, gestures, or puppets
* Speaking practice through questions and simple conversations
* A short review of what the student learned
I adjust the pace depending on the student. Younger learners may have more games, movement, songs, and visual activities, while older or more advanced students can focus more on conversation, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and fluency.
# What Sets Me Apart
I believe children learn best when they feel comfortable, encouraged, and involved. I bring positive energy and patience to my lessons and create a supportive environment where students are not afraid to make mistakes.
I also make lessons interactive and age-appropriate, using different teaching materials and techniques to keep students interested and motivated.
