About Julie
Hello! I'm an enthusiastic and experienced teacher of Spanish, French and English as a foreign language. I can help you with A level, GCSE or English exam preparation or even just general confidence building and finding a lost love of languages!
I worked in the UK secondary school system for 15 years, but I also worked in primary schools as well. Prior to this I taught English as a foreign language in private language school in Spain where I worked with all ages of learners, from primary school to adult and including some business classes.
I have been teaching adults and children online for 5 years now and I love my job!

I love languages and different cultures and I understand the difficulties of learning a language as I've studied 5!
I am a friendly and approachable teacher, who is patient, understanding and encouraging. My experiences of having lived and worked in France and Spain mean I can bring an excellent cultural understanding and language that goes deeper than straight from the textbook.
I have taught French and Spanish to GCSE and A level for several different exam boards. All of this means I have lots of experience in understanding "what examiners want".
I have worked as an examiner for EDEXCEL or AQA exam boards every year since 2019. I have experience in teaching and testing for Cambridge English exams too.
