About Rachel
I’m a fourth year dental student, with a strong interest in teaching children and teens. Throughout school I’ve always loved and achieved excellent grades in the sciences, maths and English. This, coupled with my strong desire to help and care for others led me to choose a career in Dentistry. I also had private tutors in school, so I’m very personable and relatable when it comes to teaching. I’m very enthusiastic about what I do, and I can’t wait to be given the opportunity to help, guide and support a school student! I'm giving lessons in GCSE Mathematics

My teaching methodology is to start with the specification, and past papers to pinpoint strengths and weaknesses. Once we've addressed that, we'll come up with a lesson plan focused on addressing the topics as well as understanding the topics and completing past papers. I'm confident that all my students will make significant amounts of progress and do well!
