I am Genna, a first year Mathematics and Chemistry student at Durham University with a passion for both subjects and a natural ability to explain things clearly. Having recently sat my own GCSEs and A-Levels, I know exactly what the exams demand. I love seeing that moment when something finally clicks for a student — that's what drives me to teach.

I start by identifying gaps in confidence and knowledge, then work through concepts clearly with plenty of practice questions and real exam technique. Sessions are relaxed and encouraging — I remember what it felt like to find these topics tricky, so I make sure no question feels too small.

My rate is £25 per hour, which covers a fully tailored session with no additional costs for materials — I prepare everything in advance so students can make the most of every minute. Sessions can be held in person at a location that suits you, such as your home or a local library, or online via video call for added convenience and flexibility. I am happy to offer block booking discounts for students who commit to regular weekly sessions, as consistency is key to seeing real progress. Whether you need help building foundations from scratch, working through past papers or tackling a specific topic before an exam, the rate stays the same — £25 per hour, no hidden fees.
