About Nina
Hi, I’m Nina, a friendly online GCSE Science tutor dedicated to helping students feel confident and capable in their science studies. I understand that science can sometimes feel overwhelming, which is why I focus on clear explanations, open discussion, and building genuine understanding — not just memorising facts. I hold a first-class BSc Hons in a health-care science along with a PGCE in Secondary Science. I’ve developed a teaching style that’s approachable and supportive. My sessions are designed to be a space where we tackle common misconceptions and build strong exam technique. Professional and patient, I'm here to support with your studies.

I offer 30-minute online GCSE Science lessons that are focused, interactive, and tailored to each student. My approach is discussion-based — we explore topics together to uncover and tackle common misconceptions, ensuring a solid understanding of the material. Alongside building confidence in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, I also help students develop strong exam technique. We look at how to approach questions, interpret command words, and structure answers to maximise marks — all in a relaxed, supportive environment. These lessons are ideal for secondary school students aged 13–16 working towards their GCSEs. I’m passionate about helping students truly understand science — not just memorise it.
