About Paula
Hello, and welcome! My name is Paula, and I am passionate about helping students gain confidence and achieve their goals in English. I believe that every student has the ability to succeed with the right guidance, encouragement, and support. My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs, learning style, and pace, ensuring that learning is both effective and enjoyable.

Whether you need help with grammar, reading, writing, spelling, vocabulary, exam preparation, or conversational English, I am committed to helping you develop the skills you need to succeed. Learning English doesn't have to be stressful—I believe it should be an enjoyable and rewarding experience. My goal is to create a friendly, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing in confidence. Every student is unique, so I tailor each lesson to suit their individual needs, learning style, and goals.
I am proficient in both English and Afrikaans and can teach in either language. This is especially helpful for Afrikaans-speaking students who may need concepts explained in their home language before applying them in English.
A typical lesson begins with a review of previous work, followed by clear explanations of new concepts, guided practice, and interactive activities. I provide constructive feedback throughout the lesson and adapt the pace to ensure each student fully understands the material before moving on.
