About Yamini
Hello, I'm Yamini! I recently completed my A Levels and have over two years of experience as a Teaching Assistant and tutor, supporting students in GCSE Maths and Sciences and mentoring A-Level students. I've also sat my UCAT last year and have good experiences that I would love to pass onto to others to help them succeed as well.
I'm passionate about helping students reach their potential and believe that with the right support, every student can build confidence and improve. I create a patient, encouraging and structured learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and challenging themselves. Watching students grow in confidence and achieve their goals is what makes tutoring so rewarding for me.

Every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to suit their individual needs, learning style and goals. Lessons are typically 1 hour long, but I can adapt the length and pace to ensure each student gets the most out of every session.
I have over 2 years of experience as a Teaching Assistant and tutor, supporting students in GCSE Maths and Sciences, mentoring A-Level students and having sat my UCAT last year can tutor UCAT applicants. I've worked with a wide range of abilities allowing me to adapt my teaching to help every student progress with confidence.
My approach is systematic and engaging and includes working through the specification with clear explanations, diagrams, worked examples and exam-style questions. I focus on building understanding rather than memorisation using the methods that work best for each student while creating a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions. I also maintain clear, regular feedback with parents so they can track their child's progress and areas for improvement.
