About Portia
I’ve been teaching for over three years in various settings, including homeschooling, private tutoring, and online classes. What I’ve learned along the way is simple: every student brings their own personality into the lesson, and that’s something I love working with. My students describe me as patient, understanding, and sometimes even funny (yes, I like to make people laugh while we learn). I believe English lessons should feel less like a test and more like a real conversation where mistakes are just part of the process. With me, you can expect lessons that are clear, supportive, and full of encouragement because progress feels easier when you’re actually enjoying yourself.
