About Aliyo

I am a friendly, patient, and reliable maths tutor who is passionate about helping students improve their confidence and understanding in maths. I believe every student can make progress with the right support and clear explanations.

My teaching approach focuses on breaking down difficult topics into simple, easy-to-understand steps. I encourage students to ask questions and work through problems at their own pace, helping them build both skill and confidence over time. I also use practice questions and revision techniques to reinforce learning and prepare students for tests or schoolwork.

Lessons are usually one hour long and are tailored to each student’s individual needs and ability level. Whether a student needs help with homework, revision, or strengthening basic maths skills, I aim to create a positive and supportive learning environment.

I achieved a Grade 5 in GCSE Maths and understand the challenges students can face because I have recently studied these topics myself. This allows me to explain concepts in a relatable and approachable way.

My lessons are suitable for KS2 and KS3 students, as well as younger learners who would like extra support in maths or preparation for school exams.

About the lesson

I take a patient and supportive approach to tutoring, making sure students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. I explain maths step-by-step and use practice questions, examples, and simple methods to help students understand topics clearly and build confidence.

My lessons are usually 1 hour long and can focus on homework help, revision, problem-solving, or improving weak areas in maths. I adapt lessons depending on the student’s level and learning style.

I achieved a Grade 5 in GCSE Maths and, as a recent student myself, I understand the challenges younger students may face when learning maths. I aim to create a calm and encouraging environment where students can improve without pressure.

My lessons are mainly for KS2 and KS3 students, as well as younger students preparing for school exams or needing extra support with maths basics.
