About MISATO
Hi! I’m Misato, and I’ve lived in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, where I had the wonderful opportunity to meet and live with people from all over the world. Through these experiences, I’ve enjoyed sharing Japanese language and culture, learning about other cultures, and exchanging languages with others. I love helping students feel confident in speaking Japanese, whether it’s introducing themselves, talking about their hobbies, or discussing daily life. My international background allows me to understand the challenges of learning a new language and to create friendly, supportive, and engaging lessons that make learning both fun and effective. I’m passionate about making Japanese accessible to everyone and helping each student enjoy the process while building confidence and fluency.

My Approach to Tutoring
I offer friendly, personalized Japanese lessons for anyone interested in learning the language. My goal is to help you feel confident speaking Japanese and introduce yourself naturally, including talking about your favorite things, hobbies, and daily life.
I focus on practical conversation, using topics you enjoy and exercises that make speaking fun and natural. Lessons are usually one hour long, but we can adjust the length to fit your needs.
With my experience in teaching Japanese and supporting learners of different levels, I make sure lessons are interactive, relaxed, and tailored to you. Whether you are a beginner or intermediate learner, young or adult, my lessons are designed to help you speak Japanese confidently and enjoyably.
