About Huma
I am a dedicated and professional, committed to creating a supportive and structured learning environment where students feel confident and motivated to learn. I take a patient, encouraging approach and adapt each lesson to suit the child’s age, level, and learning style. My focus is on building strong foundations in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension, while helping students develop confidence in using English naturally.
I have a strong background in English communication and academic writing, along with experience supporting young learners and ESL students. Being multilingual myself, I understand the challenges children may face when learning English as an additional language, which allows me to explain concepts clearly and with empathy. I am organized, reliable, and committed to maintaining a high standard of professionalism in every lesson. My goal is not only to improve English skills, but also to help students enjoy learning and feel proud of their progress.

My Approach to Tutoring & Teaching Style
I take a patient, encouraging, and structured approach to teaching English to children. My goal is to help students build confidence, strong foundations, and a positive attitude toward learning English, rather than just memorizing rules.
Teaching Techniques & Methodology:
Lessons are child-friendly, interactive, and engaging
I use a mix of:
- Phonics and vocabulary building
- Reading and comprehension activities
- Simple writing exercises
- Speaking and listening practice through conversation and games.
I adapt my teaching style based on each child’s learning pace and personality.
I focus on positive reinforcement to help children feel confident and motivated.
Typical Lesson Length:
Lessons are usually 45 to 60 minutes.
- 30 minutes – ideal for younger children (ages 4–6)
- 45–60 minutes – recommended for ages 7+
Short breaks or activities are included for younger children to maintain focus.
Frequency can be adjusted (once or twice per week) depending on the child’s needs.

Children aged 5–12 years
Suitable for:
- Beginner to intermediate English learners
- ESL students
- Children needing help with reading, writing, speaking, or school homework
Lessons are tailored to match the child’s school level and learning goals.
Qualifications & Experience:
Strong background in English communication and academic writing as I have background in international Business.
Experience supporting children and young learners with English, including ESL learners within family and friends.
Multilingual background, which helps me understand the challenges children face when learning English as an additional language.
Patient, reliable, and well-organized, with experience working with children in structured environments.
