About Steve
Hi, I'm Steve, an experienced British teacher who loves helping people become more confident with English.
I've spent many years working in education and understand that the best learning happens when you feel relaxed, supported and comfortable making mistakes.
I'm friendly, patient and easy to talk to, and I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and learning about their interests and experiences.
My aim is simple: to help you feel more confident speaking English in real-life situations, while making the lessons enjoyable and something you look forward to.
Whether you're learning English for travel, work, everyday life or simply want to have more natural conversations, I'd love to help you improve.

My lessons are relaxed, friendly and conversation-focused.
Rather than spending the whole lesson working through textbooks and grammar exercises, we'll spend plenty of time actually speaking English. I'll encourage you to talk about topics that interest you, while gently helping you improve your vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar and fluency along the way.
Lessons can be tailored around whatever you want to achieve — from everyday conversation and British English to travel, work, interviews or simply building your confidence.
I'll correct mistakes in a supportive way and explain how a British English speaker would naturally say something.
Most importantly, there is no pressure to be perfect. Making mistakes is part of learning, and my job is to help you feel comfortable speaking more and more confidently.
Every lesson should leave you feeling that you've spoken more English, learnt something useful and become a little more confident.

All nationalities and English levels welcome. Whether you're just starting out or already speak English but want to become more fluent and confident, I'll adapt the lesson to you.
Relaxed and friendly approach. There is no pressure to speak perfect English. Mistakes are a normal and important part of learning.
Flexible lessons available for regular weekly sessions or occasional conversation practice.
