About Jan
I am an enthusiastic ESL tutor with 3 years of experience working with High School and College students. I am committed to helping learners achieve their English language goals through personalised and effective teaching methods. I understand that every student learns at a different pace, and I adjust my lessons accordingly.
I create customised lesson plans based on the student’s level, goals, and learning style. My lessons focus on building a strong foundation in grammar and vocabulary while improving speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. I emphasise practical communication and real-life usage of English.
My teaching style is supportive, patient, and interactive. I encourage students to participate actively and express their ideas without fear of making mistakes. I provide regular feedback and clear guidance to help students improve steadily.

My teaching approach for ESL is practical, interactive, and flexible. I focus on motivation, communication, creativity, and time management to help students learn English confidently and effectively.
Motivation is a key part of every lesson. I encourage students through positive feedback, achievable goals, and recognition of progress. Communication is practised through speaking, listening, reading, and real-life conversation exercises.
Creativity makes learning enjoyable and memorable. I use role plays, short stories, visuals, and practical exercises to help students retain and apply English skills. Time management ensures lessons are structured, productive, and focused.
Along with ESL, I also teach spoken English, grammar basics, vocabulary development, pronunciation, professional communication, email writing, and presentation skills. My goal is to help students communicate clearly and naturally.
