About Zoe
I am Zoe, a friendly and ambitious Year 11 student with a genuine love of Maths. I consistently achieve 90%+ in assessments, study Further Maths GCSE, and enjoy independently exploring A-level Maths topics. I want to tutor because I love the moment a difficult idea finally becomes clear for someone else. I often help friends with challenging concepts and enjoy finding simpler, more memorable ways to explain them. I hope to help younger students feel more confident in Maths, improve their skills, and realise that they are capable of far more than they may initially think.

I believe maths becomes far less intimidating when it is explained in a way that genuinely makes sense to the individual child. My sessions are friendly, patient and structured: I identify any gaps in understanding, break difficult topics into manageable steps, and use clear examples to build confidence. I adapt explanations to each student’s learning style, whether they need support catching up, regular practice, or more challenging work. As a student myself, I understand how frustrating it can feel when a topic does not click straight away, so I aim to create a relaxed space where questions are always encouraged and mistakes are treated as part of learning.
