My name is Stellah and I am a recent graduate with a degree in Data Science and Informatics from the MSU in Zimbabwe. I achieved distinction level results in Mathematics in high school and have built upon that strong foundation with advanced university-level math and statistics.

About the lesson

My tutoring approach is centered on demystifying complex concepts by connecting them to real-world, relatable examples. What makes me unique is my ability to diagnose the exact point of confusion whether it's a gap in foundational knowledge or a specific technique and bridge it with clarity and patience. I am proficient in teaching English.

In a typical lesson, we start by reviewing previous material and tackling pressing homework problems. We then explore new topics through guided discussion and practical exercises, focusing on understanding the "why" behind each formula. I emphasize building confidence as much as competence, creating a supportive, pressure-free environment.

My lessons are primarily aimed at high school and university students in Johannesburg, from Grade 10 through to first-year university level. I specialize in assisting with core Maths, core Statistics, and particularly the demanding IB Mathematics curriculum, helping students navigate its unique structure and assessment requirements.
