About Dorianne

A Little About Me

I’m proudly Maltese and, before becoming a mum, I ran my own travel business — an experience that gave me a love for people, different cultures and communication.

Since my son was born, I’ve focused on being a mother and helping shape the next generation. ️

I’ve always loved teaching, especially seeing the progress and growing confidence in each student. I believe lessons are most enjoyable when we connect through shared interests — whether that’s travel, food, books, family or everyday life.

For me, teaching is about more than learning English. It’s about building confidence, having fun and making learning rewarding for both student and teacher.

Looking to feel more confident speaking English, improve your business English, or simply enjoy using English in everyday life?

I’d love to help!

English is my second language, so I know what it’s like to learn and build confidence in another language. I’m also married to an American, so English is the language I use every day at home and in my daily life.

I have experience teaching online Business English to French corporate clients, as well as teaching children and adults in person while holidaying in Gozo.

My approach is simple: learning should be enjoyable!
I believe that when you’re relaxed, interested and having fun, you learn so much more.

Outside of teaching, my passions are travel, cooking, reading and family — and I love bringing real-life conversation and everyday topics into my lessons.
