About Kyle
With over 5 years of teaching experience and a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Guitar Studies, I focus on developing students’ ear training. Lessons cover transcribing solos, identifying chord progressions, and improving pitch recognition. I guide students to play music confidently by ear, not just by reading notes. Exercises are designed to strengthen listening skills alongside technique. Students learn to internalize melodies, recognize harmonic structures, and anticipate chord changes. I work with beginners and advanced players who want to improve musical intuition. Lessons are interactive, structured, and tailored to individual goals. Each session helps students connect what they hear to their instrument. I emphasize patience, consistency, and musical curiosity. My goal is to help every student become a confident, perceptive musician. Together, we unlock a deeper understanding of music through your ear.

This methodology focuses on ensemble playing, live performance, and stage presence for guitarists. Students learn band dynamics, performance etiquette, and teamwork on stage. Lessons simulate real-world performance situations, helping students respond to others while playing. Fingerstyle enthusiasts and late bloomers are guided to express themselves confidently in group settings. Each session includes exercises for timing, blending, and improvisation. Students practice listening carefully, coordinating with bandmates, and maintaining stage awareness. Lessons also cover dynamics, expression, and engaging an audience. I emphasize confidence, responsiveness, and effective musical communication. Students gain practical tools to perform in bands, duos, or live gigs. Lessons combine technical skills with real-world application. My approach is interactive, structured, and supportive. Together, we develop confident, stage-ready musicians.
