About Mia

I am a passionate guitar teacher with over eleven years of experience guiding students towards musical confidence and excellence. I hold a Diploma of Music with a specialisation in Guitar. My teaching focuses on helping students prepare for live performances, recording sessions, auditions, and music school entry. I create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel motivated to grow.

Lessons are focused, goal-oriented, and adapted to each student’s musical path. I place strong emphasis on stage presence and performance confidence. Creative freedom is always encouraged. I help students find their own sound while mastering technique and musical control. Precision matters, but expression matters more. My goal is to shape well-rounded musicians who perform with confidence, creativity, and purpose.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is student-centred, structured, and creative, focused on helping every guitarist grow with confidence. I teach guitar as both a technical skill and a mindful musical practice. Lessons include slow practice methods to build accuracy, control, and strong muscle memory. I focus deeply on tone awareness so students learn how to truly listen to their sound. Breathing with rhythm is integrated to improve timing, relaxation, and musical flow.

I support ambitious musicians who want to perform, record, and express their own style. Practice routines are designed to match personal goals, whether for stage performance or studio work. I encourage creativity, discipline, and consistency. Music is also used as a mindfulness tool to reduce stress and increase focus. Each lesson builds passion, musical maturity, and long-term growth as a guitarist.
