About Oviya
I am a third-year medical student at UNSW Sydney with experience tutoring peers and juniors in Tamil Language and Literature. I take a student-centered and structured approach, tailoring lessons to each learner’s level and goals. For GCE O Level and A Level students, I focus on strong fundamentals, essay writing, language accuracy, and exam techniques, while beginners build conversational Tamil skills through practical vocabulary and usage. Lessons are typically 60 minutes, combining revision, new content, guided practice, and feedback, with pacing adapted to each student’s progress. My aim is to create a supportive, engaging environment where students gain confidence, develop skills effectively, and enjoy learning Tamil :)
