About Steve
I love teaching because I know how it feels to struggle in maths. I used to be terrible in maths until I started to practice and put the time in. I believe that I can help learners to see a problem from a different perspectives and thus prevent them from feeling as though maths is impossible.
I live for the moment of realisation that every student feels at some point in their learning career.
Whatever your goals may be, I am well equipped to help you achieve those and more!

I believe that every human is capable of doing maths, all it take is a bit of practice. I will facilitate your learning and ensure that you understand all the basic rules and principles of each topic that we cover. I also advocate for more than one way to solve a problem, which my current learners love!
I am able to teach in English but can understand Afrikaans too.
A typical lesson consists of an introduction to a new topic, followed by some examples done together and ended off with an activity to try on your own. Practice is essential so a few reinforcement activities will also be given.
My lessons are aimed at High School learners but I am adaptable to any age or grade
