About LaToria
I am a Full-Time Special Education Teacher who has been teaching those with learning disabilities for over 6 years now. I have an AAS in Early Childhood Education. I have my Bachelors in Special Education. I have my Masters in Education with the focus n Instruction and curriculum. I am a single mother of 2 daughters 8 and 14; with one under the SPED umbrella. I love crafting, writing, making candles, and spending time with my family. I'm an overall joy and cant wait to meet you.

My teaching method is tailored to the student and instructed with structure and love. I assess all students before any curriculum recommendations and ensure parents receive all communication and agree before going forward. My lesson include homework and rewards for hard work. I specialize in effective lessons for those in the grades of pre-k through middle school. I am creative and take time to build a relationship with my students. I encourage independence and welcome all IEP's or 504's. I tutor in person(with limitations) and virtual either one on one or in groups of no more than 4. My lessons are engaging, productive, and efficient to the student.
