About Harmony
I am a student transferring from NYU to GA Tech to study Game Design and Education. Currently I am a teacher in a weekend tech camp called TechSprout, where 6-8 beginning students age 12+ learn basic Web Design and App Development to create an app that addresses the social issue of their choosing. I have experience tutoring kids of various ages one-on-one working with an after-school program, in addition to working with big groups from teaching at various summer camps.

I have an easygoing, patient personality, and I love getting to know the personalities of new students and helping them see how smart they truly are. (: I encourage a lot of questions because my goal is to make sure that I'm explaining in a way that every student can process. For big groups, I like to make sure that I have various exercises that cater to different learning styles and attention spans. I love being able to share the beauty and possibility of code with a new person. I leave a lot of room for creativity and personalization in class so that they can develop their own relationship with code.
