About Matthew
I am Matthew, an English teacher for 11 years and a Cambridge examiner for 5. I have taught at universities, colleges and private centers, and I have experience with all ages - from 3 years to 80! I have studied a Master in applied linguistics, I also have degrees in language teaching (Trinity) and secondary education (QTLS).

My method is mostly focused on communication. I will create a scenario that requires you to use language to achieve a goal or solve a problem. Then we will work together on vocabulary, grammar, or pronunciation. I put a lot of effort into preparing my classes, and I have the expectation that my students will also work hard. Learning a language takes a lot of work and effort, but it's always worth it!
