As someone who grew up struggling with literacy (I have Dyslexia, and English isn't my first language), Katrina has not only aided me educationally, but had also given me the passion and ability to pursue writing creatively. I went from scraping below-average scores to receiving countless scholarships for my college essay, serving as editor in chief for my school's newspaper, being a part of an international teen magazine, and having many of my poems be published online.
