About Emily

I have completed three years of a four year Bachelor of Arts degree in French, where I studied both French grammar and literature rigorously. I will be returning to school in the fall to complete my final year. I have experience both teaching and tutoring in French, meaning that I have the appropriate resources - both physical resources, such as books and strategies for learning - as well as personal attributes, such as enthusiasm and a desire to help children learn that makes me a reliable French tutor.

About the lesson

1-hour long French lessons can be customized to fit whatever you or your child needs. The most important thing is that your child has fun learning! We can read books, watch videos, write in French, or learn grammar concepts. I love teaching your child anything that they want to know. It’s all up to you!

Emily is a wonderful French teacher. She goes at an appropriate pace and does her best to both challenge and encourage you. I know she usually teaches a younger age, so as an adult I'm a bit outside of her typical range, but she's adapted really well and I always enjoy our lessons.
