About Noelani
Hi! I’m Noelani but you can call me Noey. I am a college student, dancer, and childcare worker who loves helping students feel confident and supported. I’ve worked in a daycare, so patience, understanding, and communicating clearly are some of my strongest skills. My dance background helps me bring positive energy, creativity, and structure into every session. I’ve also started tutoring college students on the side, which has strengthened my ability to explain concepts in a way that makes sense at any level. My Approach My teaching style is calm, encouraging, and completely judgment-free. I break things down step by step, use real examples, and adjust my methods to match each student’s learning style. I always create a safe, comfortable space where questions are welcome and confidence can grow. My Approach as a Tutor
As a tutor, I keep things supportive, simple, and personalized. I believe every student learns differently, so I adjust my teaching style based on what you need. I explain things in clear, easy words, give real examples, and make sure you understand the “why” behind the work, not just the steps.
Teaching Method & Techniques
I use guided practice, quick check-ins, and step-by-step explanations. I break big tasks into smaller, manageable parts, and I always connect the lesson to real-life skills so it feels useful, not overwhelming. I also encourage questions, because no question is ever too small.
Typical Lesson Plan
A normal lesson starts with a quick warm-up to see how you’re feeling and what you need help with. Then we review class materials, practice skills together, and end with a quick recap so you leave knowing exactly what you learned and what to work on next.
What Sets Me Apart
I’m a college student who actually gets what it feels like to be stressed, confused, or overloaded with work. I’m patient, organized, and I explain things in a way that makes sense. I keep it real, encouraging, and judgment-free. My goal is to help you feel confident, not just finish an assignment. I am a dance coach, the president of my dance club, and tutor on the side.
