About Michelle
I am TESOL and TOEFL certified at the Master's level. I studied at BYU and obtained my certification as an ESL/ELL Master from Global Leadership College. I have been involved in ESL/ELL learning since tutoring English learners in high school. I am a grammar nerd, editor, mother, theatre enthusiast, and ESL specialist. I have worked with children of all ages in a variety of capacities, including dance teacher, private tutor, group tutor, sewing teacher, homestay host, and coordinator. I have also edited for university students and marketing campaigns for various companies. I am passionate about teaching children and adults the intricacies of the English language. I have my TESOL Master certificate and studied at Brigham Young University, in Idaho.

I approach English language learning by tackling current vocabulary and colloquial communication based on contemporary song lyrics along with other current sources of interest for those anxious to communicate as naturally as possible with native speakers. I believe that language learning can and should be fun and rewarding. This class is intended for learners with a basic grasp of English who are looking to expand their vocabulary and understand some new expressions and idioms commonly used by native English speakers.
