About Wheatley
I am a doctoral student studying functional medicine, acupuncture and herbal medicine. I have received a bachelors degree in Psychology with a specialization in health sciences and a degree in Radiologic Sciences.
I have taught yoga and nutritional sciences--I enjoy teaching many subjects, including but not limited to: literature, health and wellness, psychology, nutrition and functional medicine topics.

My teaching method is both anecdotal and conversational. I believe that education should be based in content that is new but delivered in digestible, familiar pieces. New information is best learned when it is something that can be attached to experience; thus, it is imperative to me that my students understand these concepts based on their own experiences.
