About Benjamin

Hi! I’m a highly motivated and professional Further Mathematics tutor with a strong background in advanced mathematics and over 3 years of tutoring experience. I have helped students from various academic backgrounds succeed in one of the most challenging subjects. I understand that Further Math can be intimidating—but with the right guidance, it becomes manageable and even enjoyable. My lessons focus on building a deep understanding of core principles, strengthening problem-solving skills, and boosting exam performance. I take a structured and supportive approach to teaching, ensuring students feel confident tackling any topic, from calculus and vectors to complex numbers and matrices. My students consistently improve their grades and, more importantly, their confidence in handling advanced mathematical problems. Whether you're aiming for an A in SPM, preparing for IGCSE, or just trying to excel in Further Math, I'm here to help you every step of the way.

About the lesson

As a Further Mathematics tutor, I specialize in simplifying complex concepts and helping students develop logical thinking and strong problem-solving skills. My lessons are structured yet flexible, focusing on conceptual understanding before diving into application and exam techniques.

My teaching methods include:

1. Step-by-step explanations to break down advanced topics
2. Past paper drilling for SPM, A-Level, and other relevant exams
3. Diagnostic assessments to identify weak areas and tailor lesson plans
4. Real-time problem solving, encouraging students to think aloud and engage with the material

Typical lessons last 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the student’s needs and attention span. I also provide additional support between lessons through WhatsApp or Emails for quick doubts and revision tips.

I have over 3 years of experience teaching both upper secondary who are taking IGCSE and SPM. Many of my students have gone on to achieve top grades and secure placements in engineering, data science, and actuarial programs.

2. Year 9-11 Students who are preparing for IGCSE
