About Haïlée
I am a gap year student who's just finished her A-Levels in Maths (predicted A*), Further Maths (predicted A), Computer Science (predicted A*) and French (predicted A*). I received almost straight 9s in my 12 GCSEs and I've had previous experience tutoring GCSE-level students in both Maths and French. I also have experience working with younger children (aged 4-11). I am a native French, English, Russian and Portuguese speaker. I studied at a French school for 10 years.

The most important aspect of French tutoring to me is to ensure the student is comfortable in understanding and knowing the basics of the language. Being a student myself, I know that boring lectures aren't the best way to teach and always aim to make my sessions interesting and interactive.
I always attempt to run my sessions entirely in French and encourage my students to express themselves and ask me questions in French as that is the best way to learn. I will work mostly oral expression (oral questions for GCSE & A-Level), translations and writing/grammar. If the student wishes to practice listening exercises which are typical of GCSE & A-Level exams I am happy to mark them as well as mark any past papers they have completed. I'm also able to offer tips for exam technique, time management and general revision.
