About Samrath
I am currently an A-level student studying Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Computer Science and, as much as I love the subjects, I understand that they can be extremely confusing at times. When covering the course I found quite a few areas particularly infuriating which looking back could have been explained in a much simpler and intuitive way. Having mentored and tutored students with similar troubles, I want to help any other students who are struggling to understand topics based on the way it is presented or the way in which they have tried to learn it. I am a Python programmer mainly but I also have a basic knowledge of JavaScript and HTML. Generally, I take more of an interest in the theoretical side of Computer Science and concepts. Having completed GCSEs and tutored 11+ students more recently, I am also familiar with the format of the exams and the small techniques which can alleviate some of the extra pressure applied. I believe that, when framed in the right way, any student can gain top marks in maths or computer science.

For each student, there are a multitude of ways to learn things but some methods tend to work better than others. After an initial meeting, I will create an individual programme based on strengths and weaknesses and the nuances of each course. My intentions will be to cover each area of the course in detail, focusing more on any difficult areas but also stretching the understanding of any areas a student may find too simple within reason. I intend to do this mostly through one-to-one interactions going through the content (on pen and paper, through PowerPoint, etc...), guided questions and then a small amount of independent study. I aim this at any students up to the level of GCSE in Maths or Computer Science (Further Maths included). I would also be happy to tutor any students from 11+ and 13+ the requirements of which I appreciate are different.
