About Amirah
Hi! I’m a friendly, patient and approachable English Language tutor who enjoys helping students build their confidence and achieve their academic goals.
I have a strong interest in English and communication and I understand that every student learns differently. I take a calm and supportive approach to teaching, making sure students feel comfortable asking questions and taking their time to understand a topic.
I’m particularly passionate about helping students who may lack confidence or find certain areas of English challenging. I aim to make learning engaging and straightforward by explaining things clearly, breaking topics down into manageable steps and adapting my approach to suit each student.
Whether you’re looking for extra support with GCSE English Language, help with writing and comprehension, or simply want to become more confident in English, I’d be happy to help!

My lessons are friendly, engaging and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I aim to make English Language easier to understand and more enjoyable, while helping students build confidence in their reading, writing and communication skills.
I can adapt lessons to suit your current level and the areas you find most challenging. Whether you need support with grammar, spelling, creative writing, reading comprehension, analysing texts or preparing for exams, we can focus on the areas that will make the biggest difference to your progress.
I like to break difficult topics down into simple, manageable steps and use plenty of examples and practice questions to make sure you fully understand what you're doing. I also encourage students to ask questions and make mistakes without feeling pressured or embarrassed.
Every lesson will be adapted to your learning style and goals, whether you're looking to improve your grades, prepare for GCSE exams, catch up on work or simply become more confident using English.
