About Daniele

Hi! My name is Daniele and I am a student at LSE, studying Politics and International Relations, along with a criminology module. In my GCSEs, I achieved the best grades (four 9s, two 8s, and three 7s), and finished my A-levels, getting A*A*AB in French Pre-U, Politics A-level, Economics A-level, Maths A-level respectively. On the side, I play piano and am trying to learn Chinese and Russian, to add to my portfolio of languages that so far consists of Lithuanian, English, and French.

About the lesson

My students have described me as a direct but friendly teacher who helped them improve in a short amount of time leading up to their exams. I am always excited to give the needed nudge in the right direction to those who need my help!

Most sessions are 50 min or 1h, but if more time is needed please reach out :) Firstly, I would ask what the main focus they would like the lessons to be around (e.g. particular questions in an exam or how to structure creative writing tasks) and then make a plan for it made up of:

-getting the student's understanding of the topic or task
-explaining/revising the vocab and sub-topics involved in the task
-structuring a response from a real exam question
-giving a similar independent question to the student to complete by themselves, which I will correct immediately
-quick rundown and further revision resources on the topic/type of exam questions

I will also provide more independent work to be chacked in future sessions to further consolidate the knowledge and skillset needed to achieve the student's best possible result. I understand how stressful the time leading to GCSEs is, and because of this the work assigned by me would not be long tasks (unless the student wants to feel challenged) but still as useful as can be!

I was working at a C in year 12 because I struggled with engaging in my English teacher's lessons and couldn't really understand her. But Daniele helped me enjoy the subject again, she was so nice and worked at the perfect pace. I ended up achieving an A*, she also helped me with my personal statement which helped me get into a top Russell Group university. Very helpful tutor.

Daniele is absolutely lovely, I struggled a lot with learning English literature because I am an immigrant and I was new to the language but she was so patient with me. She made essay writing so much easier and I got in my favourite sixth form to study English because of her training with me for my entrance exam!! I would 100% recommend her as a tutor.

I would recommend her to anyone who wants to prepare for their exams efficiently and with good quality.
