About the lesson

Lessons are fully tailored to each students individual needs whether that’s building up basics or exam practice I can ensure students are getting the exact support they need to get the very best grades. I use regular assessments to gauge student progression with old topics being retested.

An example lesson would be as follows
2 hr session starting with marking of the homework set and a recap of last lesson with a few targeted exam questions. We would then move on to the teaching of the new topic this would be guided with worked examples and chances for the student to make mistakes which would then be corrected. The teaching would cover common exam traps, tricky wording as well as alternate methods. Student would then complete example questions of every possible variety under supervision before a final review of the lesson and a chance for the student to independently make notes in their own words once everything is understood. Homework on this session would then be set which could be tricky examples or real exam questions.
