About Havana
Hi, I’m Havana! I’m a psychology graduate from Cardiff University with a deep passion for mental health, human rights, and music. I’ve always been fascinated by people and how the mind works, which is why I’m aiming to pursue a career in clinical psychology and eventually a PhD. I completely understand how stressful being a student can be — I remember the pressures of A-levels myself! I want to help take some of that stress away by making psychology easier to understand and more manageable. My lessons are built around breaking down complex ideas, supporting your learning style, and building confidence with exam questions. I aim to create a supportive, relaxed space where you can ask questions, explore ideas, and feel more confident in your learning.

I offer tutoring for GCSE and A-level psychology, focusing on helping students understand the subject in a way that really makes sense and sticks. Lessons are designed to break down complex topics, build confidence with exam questions, and make psychology engaging and relatable. Having experience working around and with neurodiversity and mental health, I understand how different perspectives and learning needs can affect understanding. Each session is tailored to your learning style, ensuring lessons are interactive, clear, and supportive — a space where you can ask questions, explore ideas, and feel confident about your progress. Whether you want to improve your grades, tackle tricky topics, or feel more confident in psychology, the aim is to help you succeed and enjoy the learning process.
