About Josh
I am a recent A-Level Mathematics student with a strong interest in problem solving, analytical thinking and helping others improve their confidence in maths. I achieved highly in GCSE Mathematics and have continued studying maths at A-Level alongside Physics.
I understand that every student learns differently, so I aim to keep lessons calm, supportive and easy to follow. Having recently studied the same topics and exam methods myself, I can explain concepts in a modern and relatable way that students understand.
Alongside my studies, I have developed strong organisation and communication skills through running an independent online resale business, where I manage customer communication, spreadsheets and problem solving on a daily basis.

My lessons are aimed at GCSE Maths students looking to improve their understanding, confidence and exam performance. As a recent A-Level Mathematics student, I understand the current exam methods and the areas students commonly struggle with.
I teach in a patient and approachable way, breaking questions down step-by-step to make difficult topics easier to understand. Lessons can cover anything from basic skills to higher tier problem solving, depending on the student’s level and goals.
Sessions are typically one hour long and taught online. I also focus on exam technique, calculator methods and building confidence alongside learning the content itself.
