About Rudra

I'm a passionate and results-driven tutor who achieved seven grade 9s and five grade 8s at GCSE, including 9s in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. I was ranked in the top 3 students at my school and received the Highest Achiever in School History award for triple science. Currently studying Maths, Further Maths, and Physics at A-level, I understand what it takes to succeed at GCSE. I’ve spent the past two years creating clear, exam-focused revision notes—which all my students receive free access to. These notes, combined with a calm and structured teaching style, help students gain confidence, improve quickly, and master difficult topics. I’m genuinely committed to my students’ progress and always aim to make lessons engaging, supportive, and focused on results.

About the lesson

My Approach to Tutoring and Teaching Style As a tutor, my focus is on helping students deeply understand concepts rather than just memorise facts. I blend traditional methods—such as working through textbooks and past papers—with my own detailed, exam-focused revision notes that I’ve developed over the past two years. These notes have helped me and many of my peers improve our grades, and I offer them for free to all my students. They’re also available for separate purchase if requested. I tailor my lessons to the individual needs of each student, identifying gaps in their understanding and helping them build confidence through structured explanations, guided practice, and regular review. I believe in breaking complex topics into digestible parts, using real-life examples, visual aids, and exam-style questions to strengthen understanding Lesson Structure and Duration Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, but I can adjust the length depending on the student's needs and attention span. Each session follows a clear structure: quick recap of previous material, focused teaching on a new topic, interactive problem-solving, and a short summary to consolidate learning. My Qualifications and Experience I achieved seven 9s and five 8s at GCSE, including grade 9s in all three sciences and Maths. I was ranked in the top 2 in my school and received the award for Highest Achiever in School History for the sciences. I’m now studying A-levels in Maths, Further Maths, and Physics, and plan to pursue a degree in Artificial Intelligence or Data Science at university. Over the past year, I’ve helped classmates and younger students prepare for GCSEs, particularly in Maths and Science. My peers often tell me I have a clear, relatable way of explaining things. I’m confident in breaking these down so students not only understand but also feel motivated to tackle harder questions.
