About Rosanne
I enjoy teaching and tutoring. I have done both of these for over 10 years and have had a lot of success with my students. I believe in the student-centered approach. I enjoy making the student feel welcomed and stress that they are in a safe environment where they can speak freely about their struggles and concerns. Understand that it is okay to make mistakes. I am a great listener and communicator. I believe in positive reinforcements. I am patient, responsible, and have a track record of great results, which makes me and my students happy!

I approach tutoring by understanding their goals, current skill level, & learning style. I then create a structured but flexible lesson plan to meet their needs. I use positive reinforcement and build confidence early. If I need to explain a concept further, I bring in supplemental materials or discuss it in a way the student can relate to. I can teach Psychology as well as reading and English. The lessons can be tailored to students ages 5-18, depending on the subject matter. In sum, my tutoring style is structured, supportive, & positive. I exhibit patience with each student and strive to make each student feel safe and comfortable so they can learn and understand that it is okay to make mistakes.
