About Devhan
My name is Devhan Jethney, a dedicated BA student passionate about helping learners succeed in Afrikaans and English. With a calm and patient approach, I tailor my tutoring to each student’s needs, ensuring lessons are clear, engaging, and confidence-boosting. I believe every student learns best when they feel supported, understood, and encouraged to ask questions freely. My tutoring approach is patient and personalized, focusing on building confidence as much as skills. I adapt lessons to suit each learner’s unique pace and style, whether you prefer visual aids, discussion, or practical exercises.
I am proficient in English and Afrikaans and offer lessons in both languages to accommodate your comfort and learning preference.
During a typical lesson, students can expect a relaxed but focused session where we break down challenging concepts into manageable parts, practice application through examples, and review progress regularly. I also help with study techniques and exam preparation tailored to your needs.
My lessons are aimed at students from beginner to intermediate levels who want to improve in Afrikaans and English. I especially welcome learners who might feel anxious or overwhelmed by schoolwork, as I strive to create a calm and encouraging learning space.
