About Ankita

Hello! I’m a Geography teacher with a background in Geography, Geomorphology, and Education. I have completed my B.Sc. in Geography from Calcutta University, M.Sc. in Geomorphology from Amity University.
I have teaching experience as a PGT Geography Teacher as well as a TGT Social Science Teacher at Zoom International School, Durgapur, where I had the opportunity to teach students and understand the different ways in which they learn.
I believe Geography becomes much easier when concepts are explained with simple examples and connected to things we see in our everyday lives. In my classes, I try to keep the learning environment comfortable and interactive so that students can ask questions freely and understand topics instead of simply memorizing them.
I am particularly interested in helping students build a strong foundation and become more confident with their school syllabus and examinations.

About the lesson

My classes are planned according to the student's class, syllabus, and individual learning needs. I focus on explaining concepts clearly and giving students enough practice to understand and remember them.
My classes can include:
• Explanation of textbook chapters and difficult concepts 
• Maps, diagrams, and geographical examples
 • Important questions and answer-writing practice
 • Revision before examinations
 • Doubt-clearing sessions 
• Practice and discussion of school-level questions
 • Connecting geographical concepts with real-world examples
I teach in a friendly and patient manner and adjust my teaching according to the student's pace.
