About Carter
Hello! My name is Carter Utkov, and I am from Austin, Texas. I am a sophomore chemistry major and premed student at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. I have completed significant coursework in STEM fields such as chemistry, biology, calculus, algebra, and more. I have significant previous tutoring experience, especially with elementary and middle schoolers, but I have also tutored high schoolers. Recently, I have been helping teach science and complete experiments with students at the Boys and Girls Club in Washington, DC. Some of my past experiences also include working with and teaching students with special needs or learning disabilities. This summer I am getting my EMT certification and shadowing at a pediatric hospital. I am very flexible with my availability and schedule, so I would love for you to reach out and book a session!

I enjoy helping elementary through middle schoolers with problems and topics that have been especially challenging for them. I start by going over class or homework problems and providing new explanations or methods of approaching subjects that I have found helpful throughout my years in school. I use my recent STEM education and coursework in order to explain techniques that I have found beneficial in learning.
