About Teresa
I'm Teresa, a Georgia Tech biomedical engineering grad (4.0 GPA) currently working as a lab technician and EMT before I start medical school. I've been tutoring since high school, mostly in STEM and English, and it's honestly one of my favorite things to do! I'm happy to prepare lessons and practice if you send me material beforehand that you'd like to work on, or we can work on homework or practice from classes as well. I've been told I'm easy to talk to and won't make you feel bad for asking questions (that's the whole point!). I'm quite familiar and still fresh with the feeling of struggling with classes and learning how to push through them, as I just graduated this past May, so I understand the frustration as well.

I've used tutoring myself and failed my share of exams, so I know what it's like to try approach after approach until something finally sticks. Everyone learns differently, so we can test a few different methods of teaching and run with whatever works for you. I tutor middle school through college in math, biology, chemistry, physics, English, and SAT/ACT, plus upper-level Georgia Tech BME like biomechanics and biotransport. I'm a GT biomedical engineering grad (4.0 GPA) headed to med school, but I've had my fair share of trying to get unstuck. Whether you're pulling a grade up, prepping for an exam, or just trying to keep up, we can figure something out that works best for you!
